Awareness and Fundraising Campaign

 

Run Allie Run is a multifaceted, digital campaign designed to raise money and awareness for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention as part of the New York City Marathon team.

With a fundraising goal of $3,000, I used social media to increase my ability to raise money. What resulted was a personal journey toward self-acceptance, mental health education, connecting with a sub-community I wasn’t aware of in my network of friends and acquaintances touched by suicide, and increased understanding around an issue I care deeply about.
